WHO IS CALVIN JACKSON?
BIO
Having grown up and raised in the church, Calvin has been a Christian for nearly 20 years. While he attended Christian Life Church, he was on the Sunday and Wednesday worship team, he became a Youth Leader and then later an Adult Leader.
He says "I have been a follower of Jesus since the fall of 2007. My Faith in Christ is something I will never apologize for!"
Unsure of his future and career path, his mother told him "you're funny, you should try comedy!" Calvin then signed up for his first open mic at Acme Comedy Club and said "It was in that moment Jesus said to me, `this is what I called you to do!` So I listened!"
Refusing to curse and be vulgar, Calvin began his journey as a stand out clean comedian. When he wasn't on the stand up stage, he studied improvisational comedy with Black Dirt and Huge Theater. He was a participant in the Funniest Person With A Day Job Contest and now performs mostly for Churches, Corporate events, Theaters, Apartment complexes and even Retirement Communities!
No matter the location of the event, his material remains clean and fun for the whole family and equally important, hilarious!
